Where we are

Makarios Avenue 88 puts the counter on the main commercial artery running through the city, between the old town and the Germasogeia tourist strip, and within a short drive of the Limassol Marina and the office towers along the seafront. Most of the city's financial services firms are within a ten-minute radius.

Unlike our Maltese locations this counter keeps conventional hours: Monday to Friday from nine until seven, and Saturday mornings through to four. If your deposit confirms outside those hours the order simply waits, and you collect when we open.

Selling crypto in Cyprus

Cyprus adopted the full MiCA transitional period, which closed on 1 July 2026. CySEC has been one of the more active supervisors in the new regime, and a number of firms have gone through authorisation locally. The consequence for anyone cashing out is straightforward: a provider serving you in Cyprus should be able to name its authorisation and the member state that granted it, and you should be able to find it on a public register before you send anything.

The other local factor is the size of the stablecoin economy here. Limassol has an unusually high concentration of people paid partly or wholly in USDT, and the standard problem is not selling it but converting it into euros that can pay a landlord or a school fee without a three-day banking round trip.

Payout options from Limassol

Collect euros at the counter during opening hours, take delivery to an address in Limassol within two hours, or use express delivery for a 45-minute window. Bank transfers to an IBAN in your own name are available if you would rather not carry cash, and require identity verification regardless of amount.

Frequently asked questions

What are the Limassol opening hours?

Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 19:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00. The counter is closed on Sundays. If your deposit confirms outside those hours the order holds and you collect at the next opening.

Can I sell USDT for euros in Limassol?

Yes, and it is the most common transaction at this location. USDT can arrive over TRON, Solana, Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain. You select the network before sending so the deposit address matches the chain you are paying from.

Do you deliver cash in Limassol?

Yes, within the city, in two hours as standard or 45 minutes on express. The express charge is added to the amount you send rather than deducted from the payout, so the cash you receive is unchanged.

Is a Cypriot ID required?

No specific nationality of document is required. A passport, EU national ID card or residence permit is fine. Identity checks apply above the thresholds set in our AML policy and always for bank transfer payouts.
