Where we are
Republic Street runs the length of Valletta from City Gate down towards Fort St Elmo, and number 45 puts the counter within a short walk of the main bus terminus, the Upper Barrakka lift and the Valletta Waterfront. If you are arriving from Sliema or the Three Cities by ferry, it is a walk of a few minutes uphill from the Marsamxett and Grand Harbour landing points.
Because the location runs around the clock, it is the one to use when a deposit confirms at an awkward hour. A Bitcoin transaction that lands at two in the morning can be collected at two in the morning.
Selling crypto in Malta
Malta took the full eighteen-month MiCA transitional window, which closed on 1 July 2026 along with the rest of the Union. From that date, any firm providing crypto-asset services to clients in the EU needs authorisation rather than a legacy national registration. If you are choosing between providers on the island, asking which authorisation a firm holds and checking it on the public register is now the single most useful question you can ask.
Practically, Malta is one of the better places in Europe to cash out. The island is small enough that our two locations cover most of it, cash delivery reaches the main population centres, and euro is the local currency so there is no conversion step between the payout and spending it.
What to bring
Your order ID and the collection PIN issued when you created the order. Above the thresholds in our AML policy, and always for bank transfer payouts, bring the identity document you uploaded with the order. Maltese ID cards, EU national ID cards, passports and residence permits are all accepted.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Valletta kiosk really open 24 hours?
Yes, seven days a week. It is our most flexible location and the right choice if your deposit confirms outside normal business hours. Cash availability is still checked against your order when you create it, so the order form will tell you if the amount you want needs a different location.
Can I get cash delivered instead of coming to Valletta?
Yes. Cash delivery covers the same areas as our Maltese kiosks, with standard delivery inside two hours and express delivery inside 45 minutes for an additional charge added to the amount you send. Your cash payout is unaffected by the express option.
Do I need to book a time slot?
No. Create the order online, send the crypto, and come in once the status shows ready for pickup. There is no appointment system and no queue management, though larger cash amounts are smoother if you let us know you are coming.
Which coins can I sell in Valletta?
Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, BNB, Solana, TRON and XRP. Stablecoins can arrive over Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, TRON or Solana, and you choose the network before you send so the deposit address matches the chain you are paying from.
