Where we are

Office 31 on the 29th floor of Al Saqr Business Tower, on Sheikh Zayed Road. The tower sits on the main corridor through the city between World Trade Centre and Financial Centre, both of which are on the Red Line, and it is a short drive from DIFC and Downtown.

This is an office rather than a street-facing shop, so come up to the 29th floor. Opening runs Monday to Saturday from nine in the morning until midnight, which is by some distance the longest evening window we operate anywhere.

Two payout currencies

Dubai is the only location where you choose what you collect. Orders can be paid out in US dollars or UAE dirhams, selected on the order form before you send anything, with the rate for your chosen currency shown up front. Everywhere else we pay euros.

Which to take is a practical question rather than a financial one. Dirhams are what you will spend locally; dollars travel and are what most people want if the money is leaving the country or being held. The dirham has been pegged to the dollar for decades, so the choice is about usability rather than a bet on either currency.

Why the counter model matters here

Dubai has an unusually deep informal market for converting crypto to cash, much of which operates through brokers working out of offices very similar to this one. The difference is not the setting, it is what stands behind the transaction: a fixed address, staff, a published fee, an order record, and a refund address held against your order before you send. If a deal cannot tell you the fee before you commit, the fee is in the rate.

Our cash capacity in Dubai is substantially larger than at the European counters, which is why it handles most of our larger orders. Availability in your chosen currency is still checked against the order before a deposit address is issued.

Frequently asked questions

Can I collect US dollars instead of dirhams?

Yes. Dubai supports both US dollars and UAE dirhams, and you choose which before you send. The rate for your selected currency is shown on the order. Every other location pays out in euros.

What are the Dubai opening hours?

Monday to Saturday from 09:00 until midnight. The office is closed on Sundays. It is our longest evening window, which suits deposits that confirm after normal business hours.

Is this a shop or an office?

An office. Al Saqr Business Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, office 31 on the 29th floor. Come up to the floor rather than looking for a street-level counter.

Can Dubai handle large amounts?

It carries considerably more cash than the European locations and handles most of our larger orders. Availability in your chosen currency is checked against your order before a deposit address is issued, so you will know before you send rather than after.

Do you require identity documents in Dubai?

Identity checks apply above the thresholds set in our AML and KYC policy, as they do everywhere we operate. A passport or Emirates ID is the simplest document to bring.
